Winterberg, much like Glen Freidman did in the '80s, helped define music, particularly y independent music, and culture to some extent, in the 90s. He was there, and he was taking pictures of it. One particularly glorious shot is a photo of said Freidman shooting Fugazi! So, what you have here, of course, is 100s of photographs. And some anecdotes, and flyers, and tidbits, and commentary. But mainly photographs. Of everyone who was anyone, and many who weren't, from that period: Shellac, Fugazi, Heroin, Cows, John Henry West, Men's Recovery Project, Nation Of Ulysses, Drive Like Jehu, Black Dice, Man Is The Bastard, Karp etc. etc. Plus, it's really good. Includes an introduction by Sam McPheeters.
