Breaking the Rulez is a humorous take on hot rods and being cool. My buddy Dan, Jeff, Christina and Karen all appear in this season. The video portion was shot after the Flash was completed and was animated by my friend David Ahuja. For the Flash piece I had to do a good bit of silhouetting and compositing of each person to make them feel integrated. The color coding was really important to give each person there own persona. The music is by the band Excelsior from Philadelphia which my brother Mark and I put out a record by this same year, 2001.
